Who is Reina Miyamoto ?

Reina was born and raised in Honolulu. Soon after graduating from college, she found that she had a passion for mission driven work and she has been in the nonprofit sector for most of her career. She is currently the Executive Director of Hawaii HomeOwnership Center and has been with them for 16 years and is still committed and passionate about the work they do and to their program expansion over the years.

The Hawaii HomeOwnership Center is a chartered member of the NeighborWorks Network, a select group of over 230 non-profit organizations serving urban and rural communities across the country. Its mission is to provide education, information and support to create successful first-time homeowners in Hawai‘i. By addressing barriers and increasing rates of home ownership, the HomeOwnership Center aims to build stronger families and communities throughout the state of Hawai‘i .
