Who is Thomas D. Farrell?

Thomas is a certified specialist in Family Law. He arrived on the islands in 1959 at the age of 3, from a family with a strong military background—his father served as an Air Force JAG officer. They settled in Honolulu in 1971. He graduated from Punahou in 1974, earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii in 1977, and later obtained his law degree from the University of Santa Clara Law School in 1980. Additionally, he holds a master’s degree from the U.S. Army War College.

In July 2007, Tom opened Thomas D. Farrell, Attorney at Law, LLLC concentrating on divorce and family law. He also handles national security cases involving the revocation or denial of military or industrial security clearances. In 2009, he received the distinction of being selected for the inaugural Hawaii Superlawyers class, recognizing the top 10% of attorneys in the state, a recognition he has maintained every year since.
